Top 10 Ways Students Can Get in Touch With Their Counselor:
If you're in the building...
1. Stop by the counseling offices and see if your counselor is available *(with teacher permission)
2. Fill out a referral form for your counselor & put it in their door folder (the forms in their clipboard)
3. Sit and wait outside your counselor’s office (don’t stay longer than 5 mins though)
4. Write a note in class to your counselor and put it in their door folder when you pass their office later
5. If you see your counselor somewhere around the school, request a check-in for later
If you're not in the building...
1. Email your counselor ([email protected] or [email protected]).
2. Call your counselor from home and leave a voicemail
3. Ask your teacher to contact us (email, call, note, drop by, etc.)
4. Ask a parent/guardian to contact us (email, call, note, drop by, etc.)
5. If you see your counselor somewhere around the school, request a check-in for later
6. Send your counselor a message through their contact portal on the counseling website (go to your counselor's personal webpage)
7. Ask to do a Google Meet with your counselor (not during your classtime though)
